Sparta Street Safe Reduce Crime

Since the launch of Sparta Street Safe it has been revealed that anti-social behaviour has been reduced by 50% in the Skerne Park area.

These findings were revealed in the latest Park East Community Partnership Report distributed by Darlington Borough Council on the 7th December.

Francis Jones, managing director believes that this reduction in crime in November 2009 has been largely down to Sparta Street Safe.

“Sparta Street Safe is here to make streets and neighbourhoods in Darlington feel safer and I’m delighted that we have started to make an impact in Skerne Park.

“This proves that our mobile patrol unit (vehicle and foot) comprising of SIA licensed security wardens is helping to create a safer environment for the residents of Skerne Park.”
